BALTIMORE — Danfoss Inc. and Johnstone Supply have jointly announced a new alliance. The two companies have agreed that Johnstone will participate in the Danfoss Authorized Full Service Wholesaler program. Beginning in the fall of 2003, a greatly expanded offering of Danfoss and Danfoss Maneurop air conditioning and refrigeration products will be available through Johnstone Supply wholesale outlets in several regions.

"The Full Service program will focus on the critical store level activities that enhance the wholesaler's ability to deliver real value to their customers," stated Jeffrey Douglas, vice president for aftermarket at Danfoss. "Our partnership will include regular training, professional marketing, and a high level of technical support."

Mark Westerback, marketing manager for refrigeration products at Johnstone Supply, said, “Our goal is to continually improve on the depth and breadth of our product offering to our customers. Expanding our Danfoss offering complements our existing lines and positions Johnstone to be a complete source for all of the HVACR technician's needs. The local training, support, and technical services that Danfoss has committed to provide will benefit our stores and help us become the premier choice for the contractors in these markets. Furthermore, increased availability in these regions will improve the contractor's ability to acquire Danfoss products."
