Sept. 21, 2007: ARS Acquires Florida Home Air Conditioning Co.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - American Residential Services L.L.C. (ARS), a privately held, nationwide provider of HVAC services, has purchased Jacksonville-based Florida Home Air Conditioning Co. as part of its strategy for continued growth through acquisitions.

“Joining the ARS family gives us the opportunity to grow the company and add depth to our services,” said Bryan Craun, former owner, now general manager of Florida Home Air Conditioning Co. “Our customers will continue to receive the same high-quality service that we have always provided, but now we can further elevate their experience with the support and resources of a national company.”

With strategic locations throughout north Florida offering service in Jacksonville, Orange Park, the beaches and St. Augustine, Florida Home Air Conditioning Co. has been a provider of air conditioning and heating services in Florida since 1993. Craun and his staff will remain with the company, and it will continue to operate as the Florida Home Air Conditioning Co. with a focus on heating and air conditioning services.

“ARS is currently focused on growth through the addition of quality service providers as we continue to expand nationwide,” said Dave Slott, president and chief operating officer of American Residential Services. “We selected Florida Home Air Conditioning Co. because its commitment to quality and exceptional service coincides with our strategic vision for growth nationwide. Expanding into north Florida also reflects our commitment to service key growth markets.”
