Robur Corp.: Gas-Fired Absorption Heat Pumps

This generation of heaters and chiller-heater gas-fired absorption heat pumps provides cooling and/or heating from a single unit operating on natural or propane gas. Minimal electricity is required by using a single gas burner that produces both hot and chilled water simultaneously. Low fuel consumption in the heating mode is possible due to the recovery of energy from the air, water, or ground. The GAHP-AR reversible air-source unit has a nominal heating output up to 120,400 Btuh and a nominal cooling output of 57,700 Btuh. The GAHP-W water-source unit has a nominal heating source up to 132,400 Btuh and a nominal cooling output up to 54,600 Btuh. The GAHP-A air-source unit has a nominal heating output up to 123,400 Btuh. The heat pumps can be used for commercial and custom residential comfort conditioning; and industrial and commercial process cooling and/or heating applications.
