Rheem A/C Division Plans ‘Top Contractor' Program

NEW ORLEANS - The Rheem Air Conditioning Division will introduce a new program designed to support its top Rheem and Ruud contractors in their business growth. The "Top Contractor" program provides marketing tools and program support for Rheem and Ruud contractors working in all facets of the HVACR industry, including service, add-on/replacement, new construction, and light commercial.

According to the company, the program will also give contractors the ability to choose from a menu of preapproved resources and implement those they feel will most benefit the growth of their business.

"We know that when it comes to contractor support, a ‘one-size-fits-all' approach is not what contractors want or need, since each contractor has different business goals and opportunities depending on the market they operate in," said Gary Wehunt, Rheem marketing programs manager. "The Top Contractor Program recognizes this and puts the decision-making process in the hands of those who know best, the contractors themselves."

Until now, top Rheem dealers have been recognized as Rheem Team dealers. These contractors will now be recognized as Rheem Team Top Contractors. Among the benefits available is a new logo for use in advertising that designates their business as a Recognized Rheem Team Top Contractor. The existing Rheem Team logo and tagline, "We Will Impress You," will continue to be available.
