Residential Equipment Warms Up Winter

Every year The NEWS introduces the latest heating equipment available for the upcoming winter season. The intent is to help contractors prepare for this busy period by doing the research that will help them distinguish between brands.

In the Aug. 25 issue, the coverage consisted of the commercial market, while this week’s issue will cover the residential/light commercial products. The coverage includes feature-specific information about each individual product as submitted by the manufacturers.

The showcase product grid includes technical facts, such as unit tonnage, refrigerant type, efficiency rating, and capacity. The accompanying photo feature provides more in-depth information on the features of each individual unit and also includes technical support information from the manufacturer. The manufacturers provided all of the data included in both the product grid and the photo feature. Please direct any questions to them via the contact information provided.

For this year’s photo feature and product grid, see the feature article “2008 Residential Heating Showcase” in this issue.
