Four new thermostats are available for both heat/cool and heat pump applications, in programmable and nonprogrammable versions. All units feature a large, easy-to-read display, says the company. The Model 8334 and programmable 8353 heat/cool stats are battery powered. Additional features are low-temperature protection and low-battery indicator. The Model 8336 heat pump stat operates using 24 V, while the 8355 is battery powered. The 8355’s features include 7-day programming and energy savings recovery, which minimizes use of auxiliary heating.
