The T plus 2® pipe thread sealant now is listed and found to be chemically compatible with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster®, and Corzan® pipe and fitting systems under the Noveon FGG/BM™ System Compatible Program. The sealant is a nonsetting, Teflon®-enriched pipe thread sealant suitable for use on PVC, CPVC, polyethylene, and ABS plastics, as well as galvanized steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum threaded connections, the manufacturer states. It allows for immediate pressurization on a wide range of service materials, says the company.
