Copeland Corp. (Sidney, OH) promoted Pratap Chavan to vice president and managing director – Middle East & Africa. He will also maintain responsibility for key global business development projects.

Carrier Corp. (Farmington, CT) hired Jagdish R. Dalal as its chief information officer. He joins Carrier from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

The board of directors of Manitowoc Co., Inc. (Manitowoc, WI) approved the following senior management promotions: Glen E. Tellock to senior vice president and chief financial officer, Thomas G. Musial to senior vice president of human resources and administration, Tim Kraus to president of Manitowoc Foodservice Group, Rob Giebel to president of Manitowoc Crane Group, and Tom Byrne to president of Manitowoc Marine Group. Kraus, Giebel, and Byrne were also appointed as vice presidents of The Manitowoc Co.

DGH Systems, LLC (Lancaster, PA) has appointed Gene Durst as the western regional sales manager.

Testo Inc., (Flanders, NJ) appointed four regional managers to promote the distribution of its line of portable hvac and instrustrial instrumentation. John Figan is manager of the Midwest corridor, stretching from Chicago to Texas. Jim Burke is manager of Canada and the central United States. James Pritchard is manager of the East Coast, and MaLou Cole is manager for the West Coast.
