Pentagon Rebuilding Is In High Gear
WASHINGTON, DC — The section of the Pentagon that was destroyed by terrorists on Sept. 11 is quickly moving back to normalcy. Approximately 1,000 of the 4,600 employees of this area of the building are back in their offices.
The plane crash and fire had damaged more than 2 million sq ft of the massive structure. Considerable damage had been caused by smoke and the water from the building’s fire sprinkler system.
