The Bradford White Corp. announced the recipients of its 2004 scholarship awards at a luncheon held at the 122nd Annual PHCC Convention in Boston last month.

Mark Larson, scholarship committee chair of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation, presented $2,500 in industry scholarships to the winners, who will use the funds to further their education in plumbing-, heating-, and/or cooling-related fields. The winners included Timothy L. Seidel, Birdsboro, Pa., a plumbing apprentice at the Berks Career & Technology Center.

Bradford White sponsors scholarships for students enrolled in a PHCC-approved apprenticeship program or a plumbing-, heating-, and/or cooling-related major at an accredited two-year college. Apprentices also must be working full-time for a licensed plumbing contractor who is a PHCC member. The Bradford White scholarship program is administered by the PHCC Educational Foundation.

Bradford White also presented the PHCC National Auxiliary with a check for $7,500 to fund scholarships awarded by the Auxiliary.
