The OptimumHVAC are software applications that allow building engineers to analyze HVAC system performance and remotely troubleshoot, in real time, over the Internet. It is based on patented Hartman Technologies residing in a microprocessor-based control appliance that hooks up via Ethernet to a building automation system (BAS). The appliance is brand-agnostic, allowing it to talk to any BAS, and can be installed by any licensed mechanical or controls contractor. By tracking building performance remotely, the software measures and verifies equipment operations and savings on both a real-time and historical basis. There are two delivery options for OptimumHVAC: Optimum LOOP and OptimumTRAV. Optimum LOOP targets buildings with centrifugal chiller plants. OptimumTRAV is designed for buildings with variable air volume (VAV) air-handling units.
