Oliver Heating-Cooling-Plumbing Launches Solar Division

WAVERLY, Pa. - Oliver Heating-Cooling-Plumbing announced that it has launched a renewable energy division to incorporate solar products into its traditional services. The company said a variety of new solar products are now available through Oliver’s solar division and select team members have recently completed training in the renewable energy field.

The company also said it has recently partnered with Earthsponse, an alternative energy firm and education center located in Binghamton, N.Y. Earthsponse provided classroom and hands-on training to Oliver’s personnel in solar crystalline and solar thermal applications.

According to Oliver, the growing demand for alternative energy products has rapidly been moving from large-scale applications to more residential and commercial solutions as a result of increased availability and lower costs. Oliver has been a leader in residential and commercial HVAC applications in the Delaware Valley for over 40 years.

“We want to offer our customers a clean energy source,” said Bernie Sweeney, VP of sales and marketing. “The market for energy is changing, and we want it to change for the better. Solar is a clean resource and a comfortable fit for our business.”

Oliver Heating-Cooling-Plumbing now offers kitted solar products by Kyocera and Heliodyne for both residential and commercial applications in addition to its traditional services.
