Oil Heating Events Planned

EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. - The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) will host its 53rd Annual Convention & Trade Show May 14-18, at the Marriott Hotel in Hartford, Conn.

The "Sports and Teamwork" convention officially kicks off May 15. Attendees can participate in morning business and management seminars; education programs targeted at technicians; and oil heat classes. Afternoon events include the Dave Nelsen Scholarship Golf Tournament, a charity bicycle event, and the oilheat trade show. Evening activities range from the Pep Rally in the Park, sponsored by TACO; an All-Star Product Review; and NAOHSM's Annual Awards Banquet.

The show concludes Wednesday evening with the traditional Theme Night Party, co-sponsored by Wilo USA LLC. The night will begin with an appearance by some of the New England Patriots' cheerleaders. Attendees can participate in a tailgating party and meet former NFL player Steve DeOssie, who played with the Patriots and the New York Giants. There will also be a chance to win a signed authentic NFL jersey. Attendees working on their Penn State Professional Service Manager's Certificate can stay in Hartford Thursday and Friday to attend the core class, "Solving Problems/Managing Priorities."
