The symposium is being organized by Global Strategy Initiative, a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm, and is sponsored by Danfoss, a leader in research, development, and production of mechanical and electronic components for applications in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and motion control.
Shea and other industry experts will note that a transformed world is raising energy challenges for business and government at all levels. Some states are pushing to lead the drive for innovation, while many manufacturers fear state-by-state regulation.
According to Danfoss, the symposium will provide an opportunity for senior-level dialogue among industry participants on advanced state strategies in launching a new era in energy efficiency. Topics will include:
The Oct. 25 symposium will be the second in a series of conferences that make up the EnVisioneering Symposium series. The inaugural conference in Kansas City focused on how energy challenges of the 21st century are transforming business strategy and the conditions of American international policy. The third symposium is planned for December in Washington, D.C., on "America's Global Energy Technology Strategy."
