Nov. 5, 2009: Daikin AC Awards Distributors at Annual Sales Meeting

CARROLLTON, Texas - Daikin AC (Americas) Inc. awarded the company’s fiscal year 2008 top performing distributors at its annual sales meeting in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Market Share Leadership Award is given to the top three distributorships with the highest sales of Daikin split systems products in several regions in 2008. This year the winners were The Star Supply Co. in the northeast region, Behler-Young in the central region, and Idaho Green Supply in the west region.

The Best Sales Increase Award recognizes one distributor in each of five regions who experienced the greatest percentage increase in overall sales from 2007 through 2008. This year the award winners were The Wallwork Group in the northeast region, Baker Distributing Co. in the southeast region, ACES A/C Supply in the south region, Slakey Brothers Inc. in the west region, and EMCO Corp. in Canada.

The DNA Dealer Achievement Award is given to the top three distributors with the most sales from contractors who are enrolled in the Daikin Network Alliance (DNA), a group of professional contractors meeting training and registrations requirements. Winners include The Wallwork Group in the northeast region, Coastline Distribution in the southeast region, and The Star Supply Co. in the northeast region.

In addition to its two other awards, The Star Supply Co. also received the Pinnacle Award from Daikin AC. The Pinnacle Award is given to the distributorship that performs the best in terms of sales, opportunities, closure rates, project scope and size, and level of investment in Daikin products.
