Nov. 17, 2010: Moisture Control Services Separates From Munters, Changes Name to Polygon

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - The Moisture Control Services (MCS) division of Munters has been separated from Munters Group and established as an independent company, with a focus on the property damage restoration and temporary humidity control markets. As part of the separation from Munters, the company has now changed its name to Polygon. The firm noted that Polygon is already an established brand in the Nordic region.

Michael Berg, CEO of Polygon, stated, “Currently we operate under a few different brand names across the world, and with our vision for our company of significant investment and growth in mind, we have taken the opportunity to create a unified new name and distinct global brand for ourselves. In deciding upon the new name, it was important to us that we do not lose the great reputation we have and it is our strong belief that our new name must come directly from what we do, how we do it, and how it benefits our people and our customers.”

Polygon offers a full range of solutions for the prevention and mitigation of the effects of fire, water, and humidity. The company has an international network of over 2,000 employees in 15 countries.
