ST. LOUIS - In an effort to support Missouri flood victims, Nordyne donated two Maytag heat pumps to the Flood Disaster Silent Auction, held at the River Radio Station in Poplar Bluff, Mo. The heat pumps will provide both heating and cooling for those in need. The company manufactures, warehouses, and distributes residential air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, cased and uncased coils, and furnaces out of its Poplar Bluff, Mo., facility, which employees around 725 local residents.
“Many of our employees were affected by the flood, and we want to do all we can to help,” said Dan Pilon, Poplar Bluff plant manager, Nordyne. “In addition to the donated equipment, we are also taking up a collection at the plant.”
