LITTLE CANADA, Minn. - Nexstar® Inc. and the Nexstar Legacy Foundation launched a new Community Service Award program that acknowledges Nexstar’s member companies for giving back to the communities that helped make them successful. The 2008 award was presented to Horizon Services Inc. of New Castle, Del., for establishing the Warm the Heart Foundation. This nonprofit organization provides replacement furnaces to needy families.

Over the past three years, the organization has installed 39 new heating systems at no cost to economically distressed families in its area. The Nexstar award included a $1,000 donation from Nexstar to the Warm the Heart Foundation.
