New York Daikin McQuay Sales and Service Office Opens

JERSEY CITY, N.J. - McQuay International has announced the opening of the Daikin McQuay Sales and Service office to serve the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, and Westchester. The company said the move helps it foster a direct customer relationship to expand business in the New York City area where engineers specify some of the world’s largest and most complex HVAC systems.

This announcement follows the opening of the Daikin McQuay Solutions Plaza at 10 Exchange Place in Jersey City, N.J., earlier this year, designed as a center for HVAC customers and specifying engineers with a state-of-the-art, interactive showroom, sales and training facility. The Daikin McQuay Sales and Service Office opened in October and will expand to include parts distribution in January 2011.

“We want customers in the New York area to know we are committed to being directly involved with helping to solve design and operational challenges and give them access to the most current industry-leading technologies from Daikin and McQuay,” said Tony Tanzillo, general manager of the Daikin McQuay New York office. “As part of our technology offering we intend to continue to set the standard in advancing sustainable design that will help engineers advance their offerings.”

Tanzillo went on to say that the Daikin McQuay New York team of 16 intends to begin by aggressively connecting with the mechanical contractors in place and enhance direct contact and customer service with current customers, consulting specifying engineers, architects and construction managers/general contractors.
