NetworkThermostat: Energy Control System Software

The Net/X-Web™ browser-based application software greatly expands the use, control, and monitoring of the Net/X™ line of HVAC energy control systems. According to the manufacturer, the enhanced software environment was developed in response to customer requests for an online, multiuser application to manage their own operational efficiencies. With a user interface for projects based on the Net/X™ Command Center software, Net/X-Web has familiar point-and-click, drag-and-drop ease of use. The web-based software provides a host of charts and graphs for monitoring the temperature control events in real time and allows the users to see real-time operation of each HVAC system, manage thermostats and schedules, and view historical performance data in both tabular and graph form. This feature provides tighter control of energy consumption while maintaining comfort. In the event of an HVAC equipment malfunction or unscheduled environment change, the system can send alerts via e-mail and/or SMS text message to the user(s), and optionally continue to retransmit them until the system receives an acknowledgement. The software also allows connection and control of Net/X thermostats from any smart phone with browser. The software is available in three configurations: Projects & Graphing, Projects & Alerts, or Projects with Alerts & Graphing.
