Two communications-based thermostats that are compatible with the Johnson Controls Metasys® system are available. The ultra-thin models feature auto changeover capabilities, a large LCD display, customizable fault indicators, occupied/unoccupied settings, and lockable display and cover. They can be connected to both indoor and outdoor remote sensors. The GE22-N2 can control single- or multi-stage gas-electric systems with up to two stages of heating and two stages of cooling. It is an exact drop-in replacement for the discontinued Johnson Controls models TEC1101-1 N2 and TEC1103-1 N2 models and compatible with the newer TEC2101-3 N2 and TEC2103-3 N2 units. The HP32-N2 is designed to control single- or multi-stage heat pump systems with up to three stages of heat and two stages of cooling, including add-on (dual-fuel) units. It is an exact replacement for the discontinued TEC1102-1 N2 model and can replace the current TEC2102-3 N2 unit.
