Munters will demonstrate its H2O LiquidAire system, which captures water during the dehumidification process and purifies it into drinking water. Making pure drinking water from cooling coils is an industry "first," says the company, and the product has been awarded a 2005 AHR Expo Innovation Award. The system will help commercial buildings in humid environments generate as much as 3,500 gallons of drinking water per day, the company says, benefiting developing nations where water shortages may exist.
