The Miura On-line Maintenance (MOM) system speeds diagnosis of a boiler’s maintenance needs from the information the boiler continuously reads and records, the manufacturer states. If a boiler made by the company is shut down, its online software is able to store the event as a “snapshot” of the boiler’s operation during the four seconds before the shutdown occurred. The Event Record feature saves the information from the last five shutdowns. This record includes information on tube, water, flue gas, and ambient temperature, as well as scale monitor, psi, flame signal, and valve data.
