The Y-Series heat pump is an addition to the City Multi® line of variable refrigerant flow zoning (VRFZ) systems. According to the manufacturer, this energy-effective heat pump adds flexibility to and provides zoning options for City Multi systems. Using the company's electric scroll compressor with inverter technology, the heat pump offers variable output. The Y-Series has the City Multi Controls Network (CMCN), which consists of remote controllers, timers, system controllers, centralized controllers, building management system interfaces, and integrated software. The CMCN provides control for each zone of a building, with options for individual or centralized temperature control. The PUHY-80 Model can be connected to up to 13 indoor units, while the PUHY-100 Model can be connected to up to 16 indoor units.
