The M12 cordless laser Temp-Gun™ thermometer has the power of lithium-ion, says the company. This model can safely measure temperatures between -40 to 1,472°F (-40 to 800°C) with a 40 to 1 distance-to-spot ratio. It is specifically tailored to the electrician (Model 2276-21) or HVACR technician (Model 2277-21). The thermometers were designed with embedded noncontact voltage detection and extra-bright LED flood lights to increase end user productivity. The units also provide an ergonomic pistol grip design and rugged overmolding for increased durability and grip. Other features include a K-type thermocouple input, display resolution of 0.1°F/0.1°C, and a response time of less than 500ms. Model 2277-21 also measures humidity.
