Mestek Unveils New Technology Subsidiary

WESTFIELD, MA — Mestek, Inc., has introduced a wholly owned subsidiary whose purpose is “to develop and employ advanced technologies to enhance the effectiveness of our business units,” said Bill Rafferty, senior vice president of hvac products, Mestek.

Mestek Technology Inc. (MTI) introduced three new products at the AHR Expo in Atlanta, GA. They include two new software programs: ProfitWorks™, a scalable enterprise solution for manufacturers’ representatives, and Sales Assistant™, an Internet-based order-tracking system (see related article, page 4).

In addition, the MTI Messenger remote monitor can call an hvacr service company automatically through normal phone lines when an out-of-tolerance equipment condition occurs, the company said.
