CHANTILLY, Va. - NFL sports personality Terry Bradshaw will speak at the opening session of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association's (SMACNA's) 62nd annual convention, Oct. 16-20, in Palm Desert, Calif. Also featured will be political analyst Cokie Roberts who will address a breakfast meeting later during the convention.

Known as the co-host and analyst on Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw has also appeared in several feature films, launched a successful singing career, and written five books. Most notably he is known as one of the top quarterbacks in professional football history, leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl championships, six AFC championship games, and eight straight playoff appearances.

A sought-after motivational speaker, Bradshaw will share with his audience his views on sacrifice, pain, competition, and adversity, while giving specific examples of the uses of the power of dreaming, thinking, and strategizing to reach success.

A long-time political analyst and a veteran of broadcasting, Roberts currently serves as a senior news analyst for National Public Radio (NPR) as well as a political commentator for ABC News where for 15 years she has covered Congress, politics, and public policy.
