HVAC Breaking News

May 29, 2007: HVAC Video Spotlights Now on The NEWS Website

TROY, Mich. - With this edition, The NEWS begins video coverage of important HVAC industry events. Each week a new video segment will appear on The NEWS’ home page. This week’s featured Video Spotlight comes from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) national meeting (see the feature article “HVAC CEOs ‘Belly up to the Bar’” in this issue.) Halsey Cook, president, Residential & Light Commercial, North America, Carrier, and David Pannier, president Residential for Trane and American Standard brands, talk about how their respective companies gather contractor input.

The discussion took place during the extremely popular ACCA annual CEO Forum. Two additional CEOs from Nordyne and York, a Johnson Controls Company, participated in the forum with Cook and Pannier as Mike Murphy, editor-in-chief of The NEWS posed questions for the panelists. A variety of video segments will appear in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to www.achrnews.com.
