Master-Bilt, a manufacturer of a full line of commercial refrigeration systems, recently announced the appointment of three new manufacturer's representative firms: West Linn, Ore.-based Reliance Marketing for the Pacific Northwest, Grand Rapids, Mich.-based HRI Inc. for Michigan and Indiana, and Kearney, Mo.-based Heartland Reps LLC for Southern Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa.

Reliance Marketing will represent Master-Bilt in the states of Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, in a variety of commercial foodservice markets, including health care, schools, restaurants, and institutions. With nearly 14 years of industry experience in the Northwest, and representing 12 other manufacturers of foodservice equipment and supplier, Reliance said Master-Bilt is a linear fit to the equipment being represented by its firm.

"We focus our business on developing specs while working with consultants and design firms to make our equipment user friendly," said says Patti Tarbet, principal, Reliance Marketing. "With Master-Bilt's unparalleled support, they are a natural fit into our organization, and we're excited to be working with them,"

Bill Huffman, vice president of sales and marketing at Master-Bilt, is pleased to have all three companies aboard.

"Master-Bilt is excited to end the year on such a high note," he said. "We believe all three companies are a perfect match to Master-Bilt, with each one possessing traits and characteristics we deem important, including superior support, intelligent design, and a strong presence in the marketplace."
