The A647B and MM647B bathroom fans have the patent-pending Quick-Mount installation system, which reduces labor costs with its simple assembly, stated the company. The integral mounting screws are placed on the steel housing. Stamped indicator marks allow contractors to position the housing against the ceiling joist and drive the mounting screws. The patented outlet box snaps out for quick wire connection, and the 3-inch duct adapter is preassembled for fast connection. Installation is complete with a spring-fitted, low-profile grille. The fans include a 0.89-amp, 4.5-sones plug-in motor with sturdy polypropylene impeller, reversible knock pad, back draft damper, and choice of two low-profile styrene grilles. The fans, which can be used in 45- or 65-square-foot bathrooms, are cULus-listed for use in insulated ceilings and over tubs and showers, and are HVI 2100 certified.
