Buderus Group, AG (Wetzlar, Germany) announces its financial results for the nine-month period ending June 30. The company increased sales by 4% to DM 2,510 million (EUR 1,283 million) and pre-tax profit by 21% to DM 198 million (EUR 101 million) from the previous year’s period.

The U-10 unlimited hydroplane sponsored by York International (York, PA) flipped and was extensively damaged at the recent Seattle race, but driver Mark Weber was uninjured. The boat remains in second place in the overall standings.
