  • Invensys Motors Systems (St. Louis, MO) modifies its Fasco website (www.fasco.com) to include a New Product Spotlight area featuring the latest news on the company’s product lines. Along with new products, a clickable archive links to information on recently released models in various categories, including motors, blowers, blower wheels, and contactors.
  • Testo Inc. (Flanders, NJ) is making a special limited time offer on its 325-3 deluxe carbon monoxide testing kit. The kit includes a CO analyzer, flue gas probe, two thermocouples, IR printer, printer paper, and service case.   • Tyco Electronics (Harrisburg, PA), a unit of Tyco International, announces that it has entered the power tool switch market through the recent addition of Eaton Corp.’s power tool business unit. The power tool switch product line includes ac variable speed and on/off trigger switches, dc variable speed and on/off switches, and industrial switches.
  • Nesbitt Aire, Inc. (Somerville, TN) doubles its unit ventilator warranty to two years. The new warranty applies to all floor-mounted, horizontal, and self-contained unit ventilators.
  • Tecumseh Products Co. (Tecumseh, MI) reports that it expects its earnings per share for the first quarter ending March 31 to be in the range of $0.68 to $0.73. The company had initially expected first quarter earnings to fall within the range of $0.90 to $0.95 per share. The lowered first quarter expectations are the result of significantly lower first quarter sales and earnings from the firm's Engine and Power Train Group.
  • Escort Memory Systems (EMS; Scotts Valley, CA), a supplier of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies, announces the addition of Premier Solutions, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN), a software integration and development company, to its Advanced Integrator Partnership (AIP) program. The program is designed to help end users locate integrators experienced in RFID technology.
  • Bock Water Heaters, Inc. (Madison, WI) announces the appointment of Donna Sheehan as president.
