  • Lochinvar Corp. (Lebanon, Tenn.) hired Michael Stewart as transportation manager.

  • Kolpak (Parsons, Tenn.) introduced a technically superior structural flooring panel that is able to support heavy loads of up to 5,000 pounds per square foot, according to the company.

  • The MiniPAC line of dehumidifiers from Bry-Air (Sunbury, Ohio) now carries an ETL listing for product safety.

  • R.W. Beckett Corp. (Elyria, Ohio) has launched a Web site (www.beckettcorp.com/heatmanager) for its new HeatManagerâ„¢ product.

  • Nomaco K-Flex (Youngsville, N.C.) realigned territory assignments with national accounts manager Mike Lepley now serving HVACR, plumbing, and buy/sell representatives in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and eastern Tennessee, while regional sales manager Steve Brown will serve contractor and distributor sales customers in these states. The company also announced the addition of David Niehaus as regional sales manager.

  • ABB (Norwalk, Conn.) won a $48 million robotics contract from the United States Postal Service to help increase the efficiency of the mail service.

  • Glocon Inc. (Parsippany, N.J.) announced the expansion of its production capability of aluminum castings using pressure die casting, gravity die casting, and sand casting techniques. Glocon specializes in cast aluminum fan hubs, fan blades, assemblies and housings and is capable of producing cast weights from 0.5 ounces to 250 pounds.
