  • Nordyne (O’Fallon, MO) has added NuComfort Supply Inc. in Chicago to its roster of distributors. NuComfort will exclusively offer Nordyne’s Westinghouse brand HVAC products to dealers throughout Chicago.

  • Weil-McLain (Michigan City, IN) has appointed Terry Lynn Mitchell of Mitchell Sales Corporation as its exclusive manufacturer’s representative for its full line of heating products in Kentucky and surrounding areas.

  • Selkirk LLC (Dallas, TX) has announced that Ray Overbey will become the director of manufacturing — Southwest. Overbey will be responsible for plant operations in Texas and Mexico. Matt Arbuckle will continue to work with Mexican Operations as manufacturing director, but he will also work with CEO Brooks Sherman on strategic projects.

  • WaterFurnace International (Fort Wayne, IN) recently recognized its top suppliers. They are: United Technologies (Hartford, CT), World Buying Service, Geo-Flo Products (Bedford IN), Bristol Compressors (Bristol, VA), Sporlan Valve (Washington, MO), and Trolex Corp. (Elmwood Park, VA).

  • A.O. Smith Electrical Products Company (Tipp City, OH) has expanded its website, www.aosmithmotors.com. The company says that the new site contains an online catalog, cross-reference tools, and a service shop locator.

  • Prescon Industries (El Monte, CA) has acquired Aladdin Air Handling Equipment, a manufacturer of centrifugal fans, axial fans, roof ventilators, and air-handling equipment.

  • ProTech Systems Inc. (Albany, NY), a designer and manufacturer of natural draft and pressurized vent systems for residential and commercial heating equipment, has announced plans to double the size of its existing facility from 9,000 square feet to 21,000 square feet.   • Elf Lubricants North America (Linden, NJ) has changed its name to Total Fina Elf Lubricants USA Inc. (TFEL).

  • PowerCold Corporation (LaVernia, TX) has filed for two new patents. One patent covers its new Breezemaster evaporative cooler, while the other is for its compact heat exchanger used in the company’s proprietary Nauticon evaporative condenser.
