  • Rhodia Organique Fine Ltd. (Cedex, France), a refrigerant manufacturer, has chosen RMS of Georgia LLC (Alpharetta, Ga.) to serve as its R-417A packaging facility for the U.S. market.

  • Brass Craft (Novi, Mich.) has appointed Charles Scott to vice president of marketing and product development, and Peter Kattula as vice president of operational planning.

  • Warmup PLC (London), a manufacturer of undertile heating, has begun offering systems in the United States and is now operating in Farmington, Conn.

  • ABB (Norwalk, Conn.) has transferred production of its specialty capacitors from the United Kingdom to its Quebec City distribution transformer and capacitor plant as part of its focused factory strategy.

  • Hartford Compressors Inc. (HCI) (West Hartford, Conn.) appointed Rod Sears as director of sales and marketing.

  • WaterFurnace International’s (Fort Wayne, Ind.) ES Split geothermal unit was recognized recently by Building Products magazine as one of the Most Valuable Products for 2003.
