  • Burnham Corp. (Lancaster, PA) announced that the following executive changes will go into effect at on Apr. 29, 2002. John B. Dodge will retire from the board of directors, but will be appointed as chairman emeritus and will act in an advisory capacity to the board. Albert Morrison III will be elected chairman of the board, in addition to his current responsibilities as president and ceo. Donald E. Sweigart will be elected as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
  • Nordyne (O’Fallon, MO) has selected Wise S. Johnson as the regional sales manager for Florida and Georgia, and Don L. Spaulding Sr. as the regional sales manager for Texas.
  • Grundfos Pumps Corp. (Olathe, KS) announced that beginning Jan. 1, 2002, all of its pump products will carry a 24-month warranty dating from the time of installation, but not more than 30 months from the date of manufacture. For more information, call 800-333-1366.
  • Thermo King Corp. (Minneapolis, MN) has announced the opening of its newest dealership, Thermo King of Nevada, Inc. (North Las Vegas, NV).

  • American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning’s (Tyler, TX) Allegiance 12 air conditioner was featured on the Jan. 19 episode of “Bob Vila’s Home Again” television program. Mike Donaghey, vice president of sales for S.G. Torrice (Woburn, MA), an American Standard distributor, appeared on the show to describe the benefits of the unit.
  • Thomas O. May has been appointed as president and ceo of Wolverine Brass Inc. (Conway, SC). May was previously president of Weil-McLain.
