MadTech, LLC: AUTOMATIC DISCHARGE VALVE

The patented Automatic Discharge Temperature valve, or ADT valve, is designed to control discharge temperatures in low-temperature refrigeration systems, as well as other refrigeration applications where the refrigerant being used would result in high compressor discharge temperatures, the company says. Traditionally, low-temperature systems have resulted in high discharge temperatures that led to oil breakdown and compressor failure. With this valve, discharge temperatures are controlled to acceptable levels with no adverse effect on the compressor, says the company.
