Lochinvar's 27-foot demonstration van has been traveling the highways of the United States and Canada since December 2003.

The Lochinvar van is equipped with a full-size, high-efficiency Intelli-Fin® boiler. The 1.5-MBtuh display unit is partially cut away and displays simulated sequence of operation. It is also fully piped and vented to replicate an authentic installation. Images are used to explain sequence of operation, integration options, condensing technology, and product flexibility. All Intelli-Fin boilers operate at 97 percent thermal efficiency.

In addition, the van houses a full-size, 1.5-MBtuh Power-Fin unit, cut away to reveal the gasketless copper tube heat exchanger and all working parts. The control panel replicates a full call for heat and modulation to maintain set point. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, the Power-Fin has been engineered into a compact design that operates with high efficiency and reliability.
