The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) has announced the recipients of its Clean Air Awards for 2016. The award is presented each year to building owners and managers who take steps to significantly improve IAQ by increasing the level or efficiency of their HVAC air filtration system.

The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) will hold its 2016 Annual Convention Sept. 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach, California. The annual event brings together more than 125 air filtration industry professionals and guests to learn about the latest issues affecting the industry.

Advancements in the air filtration industry are expected to draw more than 200 participants to Phoenix April 6-8 for the National Air Filtration Association’s (NAFA’s) 2016 Technical Seminar.

The Clean Air Awards are presented each year to building owners and managers who take steps to significantly improve the quality of their indoor air by increasing the level or efficiency of their HVAC air filtration system in 10 specific categories.

The National Air Filtration Association announced Gerry Blackwelder, Dr. Scott Dee, Richard Vincent, and Dr. Jennifer Wagner will present at its upcoming TECH2015 technical seminar, April 15–17, in Dallas.

Burroughs has been in the filtration and air cleaning industry since 1965 when he took over the market development project at the Marbon Chemical Division of Borg-Warner to introduce a new patented gas phase sorbent developed at York, which he helped name Purafil. 

Candidates are nominated by NAFA members and the facility management community and must submit detailed and specific steps taken toward cleaning the indoor environment through better air filtration.
