CertainTeed has introduced SMARTBATT™ with MoistureSense™ technology, a new kraft-faced fiberglass batt insulation that the company says contributes to healthier homes and buildings by intelligently managing moisture.
Knauf Insulation announced that its insulation has now been validated by UL Environment to contain 61.9 percent post-consumer recycled content by weight. According to the company, this is a new industry benchmark. Knauf said it increased the figure by 6.2 percent over the last six months.
The TapeMaster™ HVAC-TAPE2 is a 2-inch aluminum foil tape dispenser. It is engineered to remove the paper release liner from foil tapes with ease. The tape dispenser conveniently rolls the waste paper onto a take-up reel for easy disposal, eliminating little pieces of scrap from the jobsite, the company said.
