The News’ annual Cooling Showcase coverage continues this week with the spotlight on residential and light commercial cooling products, focusing on split systems under 5 tons. Included in the showcase is feature-specific information about each individual product as submitted by the manufacturers. Our goal is to help contractors prepare for this busy period by doing the research that will help them to distinguish between the brands.

Included on page 10 is the product grid, which includes technical facts, such as unit tonnage, refrigerant type, efficiency ratings, footprint, and available warranties. The following photo feature provides more in-depth information on the features of each individual unit and also includes technical support information from the manufacturer. The manufacturers provided all of the data included in the product grid, as well as in the photo feature. For more information, please contact the manufacturers or their distributors.
