July 2, 2010: Aire Serv Announces Home Comfort Giveaway Winner

WACO, Texas - Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., a subsidiary of The Dwyer Group, has announced the winner of its Home Comfort Giveaway.

Janice Leigh of Somerset, Ky., was the grand prize winner of a complete heating and air conditioning system for her home worth up to $10,000. Leigh’s winning entry was chosen randomly from 3,802 entrants who responded to announcements of the sweepstakes, which ran from Feb. 1, 2010 through April 30, 2010, by entering online.

“The national franchise, Aire Serv, brought this opportunity to local businesses nationwide,” said Chris King, owner of an Aire Serv franchise in Lake Cumberland, Ky. “I was in shock when I found out that someone in my area won the $10,000 system. It’s exciting to find a homeowner just as thrilled as me to win the new system.”

Leigh was unable to purchase a new system after her 11-year-old heat pump stopped working in 2008. Leigh commented that with her health issues, she “can’t describe how phenomenal it is to be comfortable year round.”

In addition to a new air conditioner and furnace, Aire Serv will certify Leigh has received Energy Star ductwork to ensure her home is energy efficient.

“It’s exciting to find such a worthy homeowner - to have someone that really benefits from the new system - win our contest,” said Doyle James, president of Aire Serv.

The focus of the contest was to draw attention to a newly redesigned website, www.AireServ.com, that launched in January. The Home Comfort Giveaway contest entry form featured options for entrants to request free home estimates on heating and air conditioning replacement systems, information on energy efficiency, and more.
