Jan. 29, 2010: ACCA's 2009 Safety Masters Club Award Winners Announced

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced the winners and members of its 2009 Safety Masters Club, which recognizes contractors who are dedicated to safe workplaces.

The Safety Award of Merit is awarded to ACCA contractor member companies with the best lost-time incident rate record for 2009 in each of four categories. ACCA’s 2009 Safety Award of Merit recipients are:

0 to 40,000 hours: Controlled Conditions Corp., Chesapeake, Va.

40,001 to 100,000 hours: Compton Mechanical Services Inc., Indianapolis, and Cooper Oates Air Conditioning, Sacramento, Calif.

100,001 to 200,000 hours: Peaden Air Conditioning, Panama City, Fla.

200,001 + hours: Waldrop Mechanical Services, Spartanburg, S.C.
