Jan. 27, 2004: Rodgers Named President, CEO Of EMCOR Facilities Services

NORWALK, Conn. - EMCOR Group Inc., a leader in mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services for a range of businesses, has announced the election of William A. Rodgers Jr. as president and CEO of EMCOR Facilities Services, a subsidiary headquartered in Arlington, Va.

According to the company, Rodgers' appointment is an important part of EMCOR's plan to continue to expand its position in the facilities services industry, which comes at a time when businesses are increasingly relying on outsourcing their facilities services needs as a means to improve productivity and competitiveness. Today the company says it provides facilities services to approximately 1 billion square feet of commercial and industrial buildings.

"We are pleased to continue to take advantage of Bill's broad experience, skills, and business expertise in the facilities services industry," said Frank T. MacInnis, chairman and chief executive officer of EMCOR Group Inc.

"Bill is exactly the right individual to lead EMCOR Facilities Services" MacInnis continued. "As a businessman who has been extensively involved in the facilities services and environmental services industries throughout his career, Bill has a strong and proven entrepreneurial track record of leadership, management, and success. His election recognizes the key contributions he has already made as a key member of the EMCOR management team responsible for the establishment and growth of EMCOR Facilities Services nationwide, increasing domestic annual revenues to over $650 million."
