Jan. 23, 2003: NADCA Expands Exam Options

WASHINGTON — The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) has partnered with Prometric, a technology-based assessment, training, and continuing education company, which offers standardized tests to several organizations. Through the partnership, NADCA will offer its Certification Exam for Air Systems Cleaning Specialists (ASCS) in over 340 standardized facility testing centers across North America.

According to NADCA, the ASCS Certification Program certifies individuals who have demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge base of and agree to abide by the proper procedures, guidelines, and standards for ventilation system cleaning.

The association also said that the alliance will give ventilation system cleaners the flexibility, convenience, and cost savings of taking the ASCS Certification Exam near their home on a date they determine. The association also said that by creating greater opportunities for individuals to get certified, it can better serve its members and strengthen the HVAC cleaning industry.
