New superheat gauges determine the correct superheat for air conditioning and refrig-eration applications. The SH-31 for residential air conditioning displays superheat, temperature, and pressure. The SH-41 for commercial refrigeration displays and saves high, low, and average values for superheat, pressure, and temperature, plus displays dewpoint temperature. The gauges work with any refrigerant by plugging in a pressure-temperature memory key for that refrigerant. The unit’s microprocessor automatically calculates superheat using temperature and pressure values.
