The company has announced a major upgrade to its X-C 6250 Pro™ mobile computer. The new version includes a 300 MHz GXm processor, improved memory and storage capacity, and DVD support, providing greater utility and higher performance for wireless field computing, says the manufacturer. The computer offers 64 MB RAM upgradable to 256 MB, and a 6 GB hard drive, with 12 GB optional. Standard operating systems include Microsoft Windows 95 or 98. The DVD capability helps those who must routinely access large databases while in the field, the company says.
