Iowa State Students Receive Scholarships

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Sheet Metal Contractors of Iowa (SMCI) has selected three students from Iowa State University to receive $3,000 from the Ed Lord II/SMCI Scholarship Fund. Recipients, all from Iowa cities, include Aaron Brace from Lone Rock, Chad Hotovec from Storm Lake, and Jeffrey Soseman from Nevada.

The scholarship fund was created to help open career paths to the most talented and brightest young people to ensure the growth and prosperity of the sheet metal and air conditioning industry. The scholarship fund was established in memory of Ed Lord II, owner of Haco Engineering Co. in Sioux City.
