DES MOINES, Iowa - A focus on customer comfort and solutions-oriented sales efforts recently gained Des Moines-based Bell Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning national recognition. Out of the 4,000 dealers at the Carrier Corp. National Convention in Las Vegas, Bell Brothers was one of 18 companies honored for their Deluxe Product sales efforts.

In 2003, Bell Brothers' sales of Carrier's Comfort Heat Technology & Ideal Humidity systems increased 300 percent over the previous year. Bell Brothers did this by utilizing Carrier's Comfort Options Program, educating new construction realtors on the benefits of various comfort components and helping those realtors communicate the benefits to homeowners. Realtors were then able to explain energy saving opportunities and how those savings offset a potential increase in mortgage costs to the home purchaser.

"We focus on maximum comfort and problem solving when working with customers," said Chuck Gassmann, vice president and general manager at Bell Brothers. "Our job is to inform customers of the best solutions for their home to maximize efficiency on a daily basis - resulting in long-term cost savings for the homeowner plus provide unparalleled comfort."

Founded in 1955, Bell Brothers is one of central Iowa's largest heating and air conditioning contractors with approximately 65 employees working in four divisions: residential, commercial, service, and new construction.
