They are available in 1-1/2- to 5-ton cooling capacities. Features include two-speed fan motors, new sound jackets, Copeland scroll compressors, new motor caps, plug-and-play connections to compressor and condenser fan for easy testing and misfire prevention, and control accessories pre-punched for attachment. A new Air Management System (AMS) with increased fan propeller diameters improves performance without increasing sound, the company says. A sound-reducing fan orifice design has been optimized through a computer simulation program. A control box offers an easy-to-remove panel for troubleshooting access to components. The Comfort Alert™ troubleshooting LED fault indicators diagnose practically all system-related malfunctions.
